With only 6 days remaining until Halloween, the big day is fast approaching and spooky season is nearly over (even though it probably feels like it’s been Halloween for 5 years by now). Aside from knowing where to go trick-or-treating, equally important to know on Halloween is where to eat. If you’re looking to scarf down some grub and throw back a few beverages, here are are some of the spookiest places in Phoenix with some of the best spooky Halloween restaurant specials.
The Salty Sow
On October 31st from 4pm to 10pm stop the Salty Sow in North Phoenix and buy 1 entree and get another one free. Choose from ribeye, chicken thighs, and salmon filet. If you’re trying to dodge kids and having to pause your show every other minute to run to the door, just plop down at the Salty Sow for 6 hours and enjoy the food.

Hula’s Modern Tiki
Stop into Hula’s Halloween (and every day from now till then) to slurp down some custom made Halloween cocktails. Where else can you get drinks like the ‘Bloody Zombie’ the ‘Creepy Colada’ and the ‘Pagan Daiquiri?’ If you’re feeling extra spooky, try the witches brew for just $15. It comes in a scorpions bowl and has plenty of liquid spookiness for 2-4 people to toss back.

Luci’s at the Orchard
Typically Luci’s is all about health foods, but on Halloween, they’re tossing that out the window and going full on cannibal. Ok not really, but they are offering 20oz Zombie Brains. Swing by Luci’s and grab some Halloween themed sugar cookies (the kind that you always had class Halloween parties at school) or sip on a nice green tea smoothie blended with cherry syrup designed to look just like blood. If you stop by after 5 pm you get 50 cents off all smoothies and pastries. If you have little urchins back at home, a dozen soft sugar cookies are just $33.49.

Chipotle is back this year with its annual ‘Boorito special.’ Starting from 3 pm and lasting until closing, at all Chipotle locations across the Valley, those who come in costume can get any burrito, bowl, salad, or tacos for just $4.

Blue Clover Distillery
If you’re looking for the perfect sip for all hallows eve, you can’t go wrong with the Blue Goblet from Blue Clover. Made with the house vodka, blue curaçao, and lemon juice, topped off with a blood red sugar rim, this is by far the spookiest drink around.

For those looking to give the kiddos a sweet Halloween treat, head over to Creamistry for some charcoal cookies and scream ice cream. The charcoal gives the cookies and ‘scream a spooky dark tint. Guests can also munch on a the new Midnight Black Bubble Waffle made with sauce and whipped cream. It to is fashioned with the same activated charcoal, giving the treat inside the cone a nice eerie look to it.

The Sicilian Baker
One thing that united spooky season and turkey season is pumpkin. As we transition from Halloween to Thanksgiving, the pumpkin-themed everything stays the same. Now for a limited time only, the Silician Baker is offering a pumpkin spiced cannoli on its desert menu. If you need a little treat on Halloween before you go out trick-or-treating or staying at home and running back and forth between your tv and the front door, be sure to stop by here and grab one of these sweet cannoli shells filled with pumpkin pie ricotta cream.
