If you’re looking for fun holiday activities for the family, there are several Christmas light displays throughout Arizona. Holiday music, lights and some hot cocoa can bring joy to all ages. While some have been impacted by the pandemic or canceled altogether, there are still many great Christmas lights you can drive or walk through. Here are the best places to see Christmas lights in AZ in 2020.
Christmas on Comstock
Gilbert | FREE
A street in Gilbert comes together with all 13 houses decorating and synchronizing their light displays each year. They’ve even been featured on The Great Christmas Light Fight back in 2015! They fundraise for Make A Wish each year, but you can also drive or walk through for free. Be sure to read the traffic flow and plans ahead of time so you know what to expect.
McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park
Scottsdale | $15
Enjoy the holiday season by experiencing the lights and activities at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. Your ticket includes train and carousel rides as well as access to the holiday photo pod garden. Purchase tickets ahead of time, because admission is limited to comply with CDC guidelines.
ZooLights & Cruise ZooLights
Phoenix | $16-$75
This year there are two options to experience ZooLights at the Phoenix Zoo! You can walk through the zoo’s holiday light display, or you can purchase drive-through tickets for Cruise ZooLights. Walking and driving occur on different nights. Check out the schedule to see walk-thru or drive-thru availability. Discounts apply for zoo members.
World of Illumination
Tempe & Glendale | $29-$39
One of the world’s largest drive-through light shows happens in Arizona each year! Lights and music meet at World of Illumination. There are two drive-through holiday displays to check out, one on each side of the Valley.
Glendale Glitters
Glendale | FREE
Despite the pandemic, Glendale Glitters is still taking place, even if it looks a little bit different. There are 1.7 million lights over 16 blocks in Glendale. Even though there was no opening weekend lighting ceremony, families are invited to walk around, visit nearby retailers and restaurants and enjoy the holiday lights.

Phoenix (Ahwatukee) | FREE
For the past 30 years, a home in Ahwatukee has transformed into a winter wonderland. Santa Train is set up in the front yard and invites families to come to enjoy the holiday spirit. They take donations for the Miracle League of Arizona.
