The popular Immersive Van Gogh exhibit is coming to Phoenix later this year. Take a look at all the details and learn how you can get tickets to the event below.
What It Is
Immersive Van Gogh is an hour-long digital art experience bringing Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings to life, complete with sound and motion. The exhibit is is part art exhibit, part a work of filmmaking and part “experiential entertainment.” You can expect to see famous pieces of work, such as “Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” “The Bedroom” and “The Potato Eaters”, all projected onto walls as original music by Luca Longobardi plays.
Immersive Van Gogh has received rave reviews from around the world. Many critics describe it as spectacular, vivid, and breathtaking.
The exhibit was featured in a Netflix show that many people binge watched during the pandemic. Emily in Paris has an episode that is set at an immersive art show that features Van Gogh’s famous artwork.
Where To See It
The location has finally been revealed! It take be held at Lighthouse Artspace in Scottsdale. The exhibit sold out in previous cities, including Toronto and Chicago, so be sure to get tickets if you’re interested in seeing the event.
“Immersive Van Gogh will be the first of several next-gen art, culture, and entertainment experiences to be held at the newly opening Lighthouse Immersive venue,” says Co-Producer Diana Rayzman, Co-Founder of Impact Museums. “We’re thrilled by the overwhelming response we’ve received so far in Phoenix.”
The exhibit was originally slated to start this month but had to be pushed back and ticket holders for those original first few weeks can reschedule online. With the new start date, the exhibit will also add new dates, now running through November. Tickets are currently on sale.
