VAI Resort, informally known as “Party Island,” is set to open in Glendale, Arizona, in 2023. This 52,000 square-foot resort will offer over a thousand luxury hotel rooms and Caribbean-blue pools for swimming and relaxing in the Arizona heat.
Investors are marketing the new resort, which is going up in Glendale across the way from State Farm Stadium, as a desert “water oasis.”
World-Class Amenities On A Private Party Island
Beyond the hotel rooms and pools, it will feature 13 restaurants, a 360-degree stage for live music concerts, a 20,000 square-foot spa, a wedding chapel, and a large balloon that is tethered 400 feet up in the air, allowing guests to look out at the city.
With the 360-degree concert stage, guests will have the ability to enjoy world-class concert experiences from their own luxury rooms and balconies. There are 170 rooms that face the stage, allowing guests to experience live music like they never have before.
Howard Weiss, Vice President of Entertainment, notes that TAIT sets the threshold for top-of-the-line live concert experiences. He says that having TAIT as a partner at VAI Resort will help them draw in some of the most well-known artists from around the globe.
Guests should expect to see several A-List, show-stopping performers, including DJs, comedians, and other performers.
In addition, the resort will feature over 40,000 square-feet worth of meeting spaces and ballrooms, which will be flexible enough to accommodate all kinds of large-scale needs.
Along with the Mattel theme park, officials note that VAI Resort will be the country’s largest private party island. Before the announcement came about regarding VAI Resort, this 60-acre oasis was called Crystal Lagoons. However, in the past year, it changed ownership.
Creating Jobs For The City Of Glendale
Officials for the city of Glendale say this new resort will create 1,800 new jobs.
Grant Fisher, the president of VAI Resort, notes that many Arizona residents try to get out of the state during the summer months. Now, VAI will provide a relaxing place to cool off and enjoy the “beach” in their backyards.
Spokespeople for VAI Resort say that it will host more than 100 events each year, some of which will feature the world’s top artists. With such a unique combination of amenities and attractions, the goal is to attract international travelers from all over the world.
Kevin Phelps, Glendale City Manager, notes how excited the city is to work with Mr. Fisher’s resort. Phelps notes that the vision and investment in this top-tier party island resort property will cement Glendale as one of the best cities in the Arizona valley, giving it the title of one of the top entertainment destinations the country has to offer.
Mike McLellan, VAI Resort’s Chief Operating Officer, says that he is sure guests will enjoy the unique hospitality that VAI has to offer, all thanks to the wide range of indulgences, which he believes are unmatched.
Residents of the valley will have to wait until 2023 to enjoy the endless amusement and gorgeous public “beaches” that VAI Resort and Party Island has to offer, though it should hopefully be well worth the wait!
