The Best Go-To Places for Fireworks on 4th of July

The fourth of July is not only a holiday where most show their patriotic side, but it is also a holiday that is most celebrated with fireworks and family time. We picked some of our favorite Independence Day places for you to watch fireworks at. These places are from almost everywhere in our beloved home of Arizona. As you will see below; we chose different cities and counties for this 4th of July in 2018.

Payson

On the 4th of July at 8:00am in Payson, the Patriotic Committee at the Green Valley Park for a flag-raising and reading of the Declaration of Independence will take place. The festivities take place until 1:00pm and includes fun and games. These fun and games include; sack races, egg tosses, etc. with a cover band that starts at 4:00pm. Then at 9:00pm the fireworks start to finish off the night!

Sedona

In Sedona, the outdoors is always a great place to see the fireworks and even swim to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The Wet Fest starts their celebration at 12:00pm – 4:00pm at the Sedona Community Pool.

Diamondbacks Game

One of the most overlooked places to watch the fireworks are at an Arizona Diamondbacks game at Chase Field. This 4th of July the Arizona baseball team will be playing against the St. Louis Cardinals. The game will start at 7:10pm on July 4th and will show the fireworks right after the game.

Phoenix Zoo

At the Tempe Town Lake, you can see Fireworks every year at the Fireworks Spectacular from a viewing area of the back of the Phoenix Zoo. This year, there will be a catered barbecue dinner from Andrew’s BBQ. Adult beverages including beer and wine will also be available. After dinner there is also an option to take a free carousel ride to Stingray Bay. There will also be inflatable bounce houses that will be available for kids.

Westgate Firework Fest

At Westgate in Glendale, there will be live music from Club Country and Crown Kings. There will also be a lot of family activities as well as some food vendors. The food vendors that will be there, will be offering a “Grab-and-Go” meals for families on the go so they can watch the fireworks from where they choose. The food vendors that will be onsite include; Good Bad Ugly Brewing Co., Kabuki Japanese Restaurant, Opa Greek Life Cafe, Shane’s Rib Shack, and Johnny Rockets.

Litchfield Park’s Red, White and Boom!

At Litchfield Park, there will be a 4th of July celebration that will include a DJ, as well as a bounce house and water slides. The location this year will be at the Blue Course of the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park.

City of Tolleson 4th of July Celebration

The year in 2018, Tolleson will be hosting a 4th of July Celebration will feature; a hot-dog-eating contest, cheeseball toss, and a cookie-face race. There will also be music to top off the night off as well as the fireworks show. Visitors can compete in a hot-dog-eating contest, cheeseball toss, and cookie-face race.
