This June the valley will be seeing several superstars in music that we are all looking forward to seeing. From the Jennifer Lopez tour at Talking Stick Resort Arena to J.I.D.’s appearance at the more intimate Marquee Theatre, there is something to please every musical taste.

 

Here are some of the best artists coming to Phoenix in June:

 




J Lo in Phoenix

Fresh off her record-breaking Planet Hollywood residency in Las Vegas, Lopez is bringing the glamor of Sin City to Phoenix on her first headlining tour in more than six years. Her wildly successful ‘All I Have’ Vegas show grossed over $100 million in its two-and-a-half-year run. 

The “It’s My Party” tour will stop in Phoenix on June 16 and promises a party mix of her fan-favorite discography. Combined with the kind of elaborate choreography J-Lo is famed for, plus dramatic set design and a dazzling wardrobe, this show is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Machine Gun Kelly

This Cleveland born rapper may be best known for his controversial opinions and beef with Eminem, but this isn’t strictly fair. Machine Gun Kelly, real name Richard Colson Baker, boasts double-platinum singles “Bad Things” with Camila Cabello and “Wild Boy” among his discography.

The rapper recently revealed that his upcoming album Hotel Diablo is going to be “just as honest” as his sophomore release General Admission.

If his previous music is anything to go by, this fourth album will be an exciting and long-awaited release for fans. M.G.K. hits Phoenix on June 18.

Khalid in Arizona

Khalid

Khalid kicks off his North American tour in Glendale on June 20. Supporting the success of his chart-topping sophomore release “Free Spirit,” the R&B singer has gone from strength to strength since his initial release of “Teenage Dream.”

Storming 2016 with his five-times platinum single, “Location,” and keeping momentum with a follow up of melodic multi-platinum hits, Khalid, who is originally from Texas, is currently one of R&B’s biggest stars.

J.I.D Coming To PHX

A protege of J. Cole’s Dreamville imprint, Atlanta rapper J.I.D. is part of the Spillage Village collective. His Catch Me If You Can Tour hits Phoenix on June 7 and is in support of his sophomore album “DiCaprio 2.”

Described as,”a keen intellect and Zone 6 Atlanta come-up, J.I.D. brings an interesting voice to the post-trap landscape. Modern sensibilities keep him grounded in a current musical landscape, while the desire to perfect his craft affirms his credibility among purists.”

Rich the kid in phoenix

Rich the Kid

Young Atlanta native Rich the Kid is a modern trap sensation. His full-length debut “The World Is Yours,” turned gold and spun off two big hits of 2018 – the triple-platinum “Plug Walk” and “New Freezer” ft. Hip hop heavyweight Kendrick Lamar.

Supporting his new release “The World is Yours 2,” Rich the Kid comes to Phoenix on June 8.
