October is just around the corner and along with haunted houses and the MLB playoffs, it also will be home to a number of great concerts with great artists and events to check out. This October the Phoenix locals have a wide variety of musical artists coming to Valley. Every demographic is covered from teenage girls to 50 year old parents dealing with mid-life crises. Check out these acts coming to Phoenix next month.
The Jonas Brothers
No, you didn’t walk through a time portal and end up back in 2008…or the year 3000, The Jo Bros are really on tour. Off the release of their new song ‘Sucker’ in May, the Jonas Brothers announced a 60-date North American reunion tour. In June the group released their first studio album in 10 years. The band’s Happiness Begins Tour, sweeps through Arizona on October 5th at Talking Stick Arena alongside artists; Bebe Rhexa and Jordan McGraw.

Keeping up with the Disney live action spirit, the guy who wrote and produced the soundtrack for Tarzan, Phil Collins, will be coming to the Valley on October 15th at Talking Stick Resort. Earlier this year Collins announced a 15 city tour, ‘I’m Still Not Dead Yet, Live!’ The tour begins at the end of this month on September 23rd in Dallas and ends on October 19th in Las Vegas. Tickets are on sale now for the Phoenix show on the 15th at 8 pm.
In celebration of the release of Chris Brown’s 32-track album INDIGO, his 9th studio album, Brown announced a summer tour called the INDIGOAT tour. The first stop was Portland, Oregon on August 20th and the tour ends in Anaheim, CA on October 19th. Just before the end of his tour, Breezy will make a stop in Phoenix, on Thursday, October 10th at Talking Stick Arena. The show starts at 6 pm and tickets are on sale now.
This month, the artists known as Bastille, kicks off its Doom Days tour celebrating the release of their third studio album of the same name released this past summer. On October 15th the British indie rock band will roll through Phoenix, performing at Comerica Park Theater at 7:30 pm. Tickets are still on sale for the Phoenix show.

Also coming to Comerica Park this October is comedy band of artists, Tenacious D. The group has been on tour since last November in promotion of their Youtube animation series Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto and the accompanying soundtrack. October is the final month of the tour.The Phoenix show is the fifth to last show on the year long tour. Tickets for the show, which starts at 8:00 pm, are available online now.
Back in March, Canadian electronic producer and DJ Deadmau5 announced a 19 date tour across North America. Next month on October 5th, that tour comes to Phoenix at Comerica Park Theater. During the tour, Deadmau5 will be featuring his new cube v3 production which debuted at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. The new cube rotates a full 360 giving fans a more interactive experience. This is Deadmau5 first tour since the release of his latest EP Maus5ville: Level 3.
Fresh off his back-to-back weekend performance at this year’s Coachella, Colombian Reggaeton singer J Balvin launched a North American tour, dubbed ‘The Arcoiris Tour.’ Balvin’s main stage performances at Coachella received lavish praise for its visual effects which Variety called, “One of the most eye-popping and elaborate sets ever to be immortalized on festival’s [sic] stage.” Balvin’s tour hits Talking Stick Resort Arena on Saturday, October 12th at 8:00 pm
Celebrating the band’s 20th anniversary of their third studio album, Make Yourself. The album was what ultimately took the band into the mainstream and produced their highest charting single ever, ‘Drive.’ The tour was announced in May and will span from the middle of this month through the beginning of December, with the band coming through Comerica Park Theater in Phoenix on Thursday, October 24th.
The Detroit native Lizzo has become a household name overnight after her delayed success in recent weeks. Despite being released in September of 2017, her single Truth Hurts became a sleeper hit and after being featured in a TikTok meme and in the Netflix movie Someone Great, soared to number 1 on the Billboard charts two years later in September of 2019. Next month on the 23rd of October Lizzo will bring her Cuz I Love You tour to Phoenix performing at The Van Buren. The show begins at 8:00 pm and the doors open at 7. Tickets are sold out.
Though the Philly rapper was supposed to make a stop in Phoenix on October third, sadly the show was canceled. In late August it was announced that seven shows on the Legendary Nights Tour featuring Meek Mill and Future were scrubbed. In a promo posted uploaded to Mill’s Twitter, the Phoenix show was left off the graphic.
