Top 10 Pizza Restaurants In The Valley

If you’re a major fan of excellent pizza, then you’re in luck. Today, we’re going to dive in and show you the top 10 pizza restaurants in the valley so you can start munching and crunching them off your to-eat list.

The Rec Pizzeria

The Rec Pizzeria opened up in the Spring of 2019 when Detroit transplant Mark Gluck brought his famous Detroit-style pizza to Arizona. With browned cheese-crisp crust, a signature thickness, and many unique ways to top your pizza off, such as chiles, crema, and spicy pickles, this west valley location is a must-eat.

Cibo Urban Pizzeria

If you ever want an incredible pizza in an intimate setting without the feeling of the city around you, Cibo Urban Pizzeria is the place. You’ll find all of the puffiness and soupiness of Neapolitan-style pizza here. We recommend the Diavola for spicy lovers!

La Piazza Al Forno

This is one of the few pizza restaurants serving up Roman-style and Neapolitan-style pizza. Chef Justin PIazza serves up pies using the old-world method. This faithfully thin pizza is a unique style for the valley with a creative twist that will have your mouth watering for more.

Lamp Pizzeria

Enjoy Neo-Neapolitan pizzas baked in a beautiful red-tile oven, compliments of chef Matt Pilato, at Lamp Pizzeria in North Scottsdale. With a blend of flour from Italy and homemade mozzarella, these pies are the real deal. We recommend trying the Geppetto, which is topped with gorgonzola, a caramelized onion marmalade, and Sicilian sausage.

Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana

Try out classic Neapolitan pizza from this Scottsdale restaurant, which has a certificate from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana in Naples. If you want a classic, traditional-style pizza, chef Steffano Fabbri can provide it.

The Parlor Pizzeria

The Parlor Pizzeria was born out of a revitalized mid-century beauty parlor and offers pizzas with non-traditional toppings, such as union fig jam and barbecue chicken. If you’re looking to experiment with your love of pies, this is one of the best pizza restaurants around.

Grand Avenue Pizza Company

It can be difficult to find pizza by the slice in Phoneix, though for a late-night slice with unbelievable toppings, we recommend heading on down to Grand Avenue Pizz Company on Grand Avenue. From jalapeno macaroni to eggplant parm, this is one of the pizza restaurants where you can find it all.

Forno 301

With roots in Liguria, the family-owned Forno 301 offers a quaint Italian cafe feel with straightforward, lovingly made pizzas and fresh pasta. The signature pizza here is the Testosterone, which is a delicious pie draped with bell peppers, prosciutto, and two eggs.

Fabio On Fire

Fabio Cecchetti was raised by a Southern Italian family in Piedmont, and his upbringing brings something unique to the Phoenix pizza scene. While you’ll find that he leans strongly on Neapolitan pizza elements, such as puffy crust and minimal toppings, you’ll find something of a special caliber that you can’t find anywhere else. Make sure to try the delicious tiramisu if you have room!

Craft 64

Craft 64 has locations in Chandler and Scottsdale and has remained a staple of the Neo-Neapolitan pizza culture in Phoenix. Go for the Aji, which has warm jalapeno sauce, or the Smokehouse, which carries smoked onions and sausage for some classic musk.

We hope our list of the valley’s best pizza restaurants has inspired you to get a slice of pie today! As always, make sure to stay up to date with everything in Arizona here at AZ Local Business.
