Top 4th Of July Festivities In Arizona

This summer will be a return to normal for many families in the Valley. The 4th of July will be a great time to gather with friends and family and enjoy the normalcy that the country is beginning to return to after the pandemic. Here are the top 4th of July activities happening around Arizona this year. 

 

Celebrate America 2021On the shores of Lake Pleasant, this annual fireworks show will include food trucks and free kids activities, like water slides, bounce houses and live music. The activities all begin at 5 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m.

 

D-backs 4th of July Spectacular: This season will feature another postgame firework show! For the weekend games, the roof will open before fans enjoy a fireworks show.

 

Arizona Grand Resort & SpaEnjoy the 15-minute fireworks show from areas around the resort, or rent a room to view from your balcony. 

 

Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration: This celebration, held at Westworld, will feature food, fun, and live entertainment. The fireworks show is set to be twice as big as last year, and it’s now one of Arizona’s largest fireworks displays.

 

A Star-Spangled 4th of July CelebrationAt the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, the entire weekend will celebrate the 4th! On Sunday evening, the signature Red, White and Boom Fireworks Extravaganza will take place. 

 

Fourth at the FountainIn Fountain Hills at the Fourth at the Fountain celebration, festivities kick off at 7 p.m. with music and prizes and conclude with the fireworks display at 9 p.m. over Fountain Lake.

 

Avondale Light Up the Sky 4th of July Celebration: Avondale will have the largest tailgate fireworks experience in the Southwest Valley. This is a free event, with an upgrade for the VIP zone. Gates open at 5 p.m., with the fireworks show at 8:30 p.m.

 

Fireworks for the 4th at WestgateWith free face painting, balloon twisting, and an iconic chalk walk, this event will have live music and fireworks at 9 p.m. With the event happening at Westgate, you can check out the nearby restaurants for dinner in between activities.

 

Flagstaff Independence Day Parade: The 2021 Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Parade in Historic Downtown Flagstaff will be fun for the whole family, with sights and activities for all ages.

 

Some of the Valley’s other popular events may be cancelled, like the July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival. Check with your planned events and activities to make sure COVID-19 or wildfire danger doesn’t change your plans.
