What to Know About the Arizona Cardinals 2020 Season

Football is back! Sports fans all across the country are celebrating the return of sports, and for many, the new NFL season is cause for excitement. While many professional sports leagues have come back in some form or another, the NFL Arizona Cardinals 2020 season is a staple for many households, and the return of Sunday football games brings something else to do or watch on the weekends.

However, this season may look a little bit different than past seasons. For one, most, if not all, teams are not allowing fans into the stadiums to watch games. This year’s season will be viewed only on television. Other teams are limiting the number of fans in the stadium to ensure the safety of the teams, coaching staff, and fans themselves.

Ticketing & In-Person Viewing

The Arizona Cardinals fall into this category; on Sunday at their home game against the Detroit Lions, 750 members of the family and close friends of Cardinals players, coaches and staff will be in attendance. State Farm Stadium holds 63,400 people, so even the audience members on Sunday will be a small fraction of the full capacity. Future changes may be made to in-person viewing and attendance as the global pandemic continues to change. (If you would like to buy season tickets, should seating open up during the Arizona Cardinals 2020 season, you can join the ticket priority list on the Cardinals site.)

TV Viewing

Because you currently cannot attend most NFL games in person, most football fans will be watching on TV. For some, that may happen at home or at family viewing parties. Socially distant game watching can be a great way to see loved ones you’ve been missing recently. As the weather cools, hosting an outdoor barbecue or block party can be a great way to bring together fans and enjoy a Cardinals game too.

If you want to get out of the house, many of the local Cardinals bars are still showing the games and are open for some socially distant seating. For some, sports bars are the best place to watch a game. You can meet up with friends or meet some new fans and cheer on your favorite team.

Here are 10+ of the most popular Cardinals bars to grab a beer and enjoy the game with fellow fans:

Even though this season might not be quite like past seasons, you can still enjoy the game, either at home or at a bar. Maybe you will even be able to watch a football game in person again soon. Stay tuned for updated ticketing information on the Cardinals’ season!
