Black Friday is upon us once again. Every year at the end of November, shoppers from far and near arise early at the crack of dawn to make their annual pilgrimage to malls and retails stores across the nation. As the doors open, crowds flood the inside as consumers overcome with the prospect of major savings knock each other over in hopes of getting the best Black Friday deals, just hours after giving thanks for everything they already have.


Each year the sales get bigger and begin earlier. Many stores are already offering great deals. With so many different sales, it can be overwhelming and you may not know where to look. Fortunately, we looked through it all so you don’t have to. Here are some of the best places to go to make your Black Friday shopping a success. Some of these deals are already going on right now, so get your shopping done early this year.

Where to shop for the best Black Friday deals

From outlets, local stores and high end malls, there are tons of places to shop on Black Friday. Unlike water, Arizona does not have a shopping venue shortage. Here are some of the top spots to hit up as you do your holiday shopping. (Note: individual stores such as Best Buy etc. may have hours independent of the rest of the mall).


Arizona Mills

Arizona Mills is an indoor shopping mall in Tempe. This year for Black Friday, Arizona Mills is opening its doors at 6:00 am and will close at 9 pm.

Mills is located at: 5000 S. Arizona Mills Circle.


Arrowhead Towne Center

For those in Glenndale, Arrowhead Towne Center, located at 7700 W Arrowhead Towne Center. The mall is open on Thanksgiving day from 6 pm to 12 am and then re-opens on Blck Friday at 6 am and closes at 10 pm. 


Biltmore Fashion Square

Located in East Camelback Village, the upscale shopping square, while closed on Thanksgiving, opens up at 8 am on Black Friday. The fashion square is located at 2502 E. Camelback Rd.


Chandler Fashion Center

For shoppers in Chandler, Chandler Fashion Center, located at, 3111 W. Chandler Blvd, Chandler. The shopping center is open Thanksgiving day from 6 pm to midnight, and then re-opens Black Friday at 6 am until 10 pm. 


Kierland Commons

The outdoor upscale shopping center located at 15205 N Kierland Blvd, will be closed on Thanksgiving but opens up at 8 am on Black Friday.


Scottsdale Fashion Square

Located at 7014 E. Camelback Rd, Scottsdale Fashion Square opens at 6 am on Black Friday and closes at 10 pm. It is closed on Thanksgiving. 


Best retail store Black Friday deals

Outside of malls and local store deals, huge retail stores are offering massive savings on high in-demand products from electronics and home appliances to apparel and more.





Amazon black friday


Technically, the largest retailer in the world doesn’t have a single store. However, the Happy Holideals special is already in full swing at Amazon. If you’re looking to avoid the early morning rush the day after Thanksgiving, take advantage of these online deals. 


The online retailer is also bringing back its annual ‘7 Days of Black Friday’ beginning on the 22nd. Deals include: the Amazon Echo 2nd Gen for $69.00 (saves $29.01), Fire HD 8 Tablet for $49.99 (saves: $30), Fire TV Cube for $89.99 (saves $30), Ring indoor cam 2-pack for $99.99 (saves $40), Echo Show 2nd-Gen for $89.99 (saves $80).


Best Buy

Best Buy Black Friday


Doors open at Best Buy at 5 pm on Thanksgiving day. So if you’re relatives are driving you crazy, use this as an excuse to cash in on some huge savings at BestBuy. Door Buster deals on Thanksgiving include $350 savings on 70’’ and 75’’ Samsung LED HD Tvs and $280 savings on 58’’ Insignia Fire edition tvs. Other Black Friday deals include up to $500 off select laptops (with a minimum savings of $100), $200 off unlocked cell phones, and $400-500 off the new Samsung Galaxy S10, Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G. BestBuy is also offering huge savings on various home appliances such as $1,150 off a new Samsung 4-door French door refrigerator. 





Costco Black Friday


This year Costco released a 31 page Black Friday ad packed full of deals (including a Cyber Monday section), making the store a must-do during your shop crawl. If you can’t wait until Black Friday, the wholesaler already has daily deals running all the way through the 29th. Warehouses are closed on Thanksgiving day, but the savings will begin at 9 am on Black Friday (locations may vary). 


Black Friday deals include up to $300 off select laptops including $250 off Apple MacBooks Pros 13.3’’, and $330 off Apple iMac 27’’ with 5K retina display. Other deals include $100 off Xbox One S controller bundles, $1,000 off Aquaterra spas jacuzzi (online only), and $300 off 65’’ Vizio PX series LED Tvs. 


Dick’s Sporting Goods

Dick's Black Friday


If you’re in the market for some sporting equipment this season, Dick’s has you covered for majors savings. Dick’s opens at 6 pm on Thanksgiving and will remain open until 2 am on Black Friday. Stores will then temporarily close and re-open at 5 am and close at 10 pm. 


Right now, Dick’s has a variety of pre-Black Friday sales going on including $22 off Men’s North Face Cyclone 2 Hooded Jacket. Doorbuster sales include: Men and women’s North Face Alpz Down Vest for $59.99 (saves $40), select NCAA fleece, polos, and ¼ zips for just $19.98, $230 off 50’’ steel frame portable basketball hoop, and $90 off men’s and women’s XL full set golf clubs. 



Kohl's Black Friday


Khol’s Black Friday specials begin at 12:01 online and 5 pm in store on Thanksgiving day. Doorbusters include $150 off an Xbox One NBA 2K2020 bundle, $20 off iHomes, $50 off Beats by Dre earphones, $30 off FitBit, and $350 off Canon EOS Rebel cameras. Khol’s is also offering $15 worth Khol’s Cash for every $50 spent from the 25th through Black Friday, and free shipping on all online orders over $25 from the 25th through December 4th. 



Macy's Black Friday


Macy’s begins their Black Friday event in most stores at 5 pm on Thanksgiving and also is offering deals online from the 27th through the 30th. The department is offering a huge deal on luggage with a 5-Pc luggage set from Tag Springfield for just $49.99, savings of $190 off regular price. Other deals include 40% off Men’s Levi’s and 60% off dresses and dresswear and suit separates from Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors at $179.99, $15 off select Nike fleece hoodies and pants, and 50% off certain designer handbags.



Target Black Friday


This year Target released a mammoth 54-page Black Friday ad with 100s of doorbusters and 1000s of deals including free shipping on everything at Target.com. Target opens at 5 pm on Thanksgiving until 1am and then re-opens at 7 am. Doorbuster deals include $300 off 65’’ Samsung 4k UH HDR Tvs, $150 off 50’’ Philips Roku Tvs, $90 off 40’’ TCL Roku Smart Tvs, and $40 off Samsung 170-watt sound bars. Other Black Friday days include $80 off 10.2-inch iPads, and $30 off Series 3 Apple Watches.



Wamart Black Friday


Walmart’s Black Friday shopping sale kicks off at 6 pm on Thanksgiving. If you can’t wait that long, Walmart already has pre-Black Friday sales going on right now including $45 off Google Home Mini and Chromecast bundles and $70 off 55-inch VIZIO M-series. Starting on Thanksgiving however, customers will be provided with color-coded store maps to assist them as they shop.


Black Friday Walmart shoppers can save up to $130 on sound bars, get over half off on Roku Ultra sets, $80 off 6th-gen iPads. Walmart is also offering special buys and deals on various home items such as $50 off select vacuums, discounts on K-cup brewers, pressure cookers, blenders and more. For gamers, Walmart will be also be offering $100 off Xbox One X and Ps4 bundles.
